Crazy weekend.
For the past few days I have been working in Market Basket from 7-12. But I got to spice it up this weekend and went to Liz's soccer tournament for Aztec on the Cape. So the Cape is farther away than I thought and it was mad crazy with all of the traffic. It took like, 2-3 hours I think. My mom, Liz, and Alana showed up a few hours after us. We went out to dinner, then watched "Freaky Friday," then fell asleep.
The villa, yes villa not motel room, was nice and Cape-ish and was on a golf course with a mansion/castle thing. It was real classy and luckily we got like 75% a night due to the whole team going.
Their game went well, 3-1 with no subs. They were working really well together but the heat and lack of numbers took its toll.
We went back to our room to change and chill out when I looked over and the door connecting to another villa had water gushing under our door. We ran around grabbing towel trying to stop it. It turns out the people next to us were doing laundry and the machine exploded. It was OUT OF CONTROL! We ended up having to move to another house.
After we went to breakfast, then nap, then Go-Carting at a really bad place. It was really slow and one lap is about the size of a basketball court. Kinda lame but oh well. We then went to dinner. The whole team was at one place hen ONE player didn't like it so the WHOLE team had to go to a different place. It was SO LAME! The 2nd resturant, Seafood Sam's was the SAME EXACT THING! Oh well.
I then visited Kerry from UNH and we got Ice Cream at 4 Seas the hit up the beach. I then headed home and didn't get back until 1am.
I then went back to the bucket for a 6-10 shift. Not fun.
After I drove up to UNH to begin my Orientation Leader (aka OL) job. Moved in and pimpin out my room. I guess I had the designated party room despite not being able to party??
We had a huge family style dinner and then drove to get ice cream.
After a bunch of us made a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up some goods.
Tomorrow I start my training and I can't wait b/c we are doing high ropes course stuff!!!
More to come...
