Question about technical English term;
What does "vertical range of manufacture" mean?

"The vertical range of manufacturing - from the market-orientated product development to programming, construction, and production to the completed product - guarantees the high quality standards of the products by applying test routines in any phase."

Does this help? It seems to mean "how much of the manufacturing is done at your factory/by your firm."

I haven't a clue but I got the same results. It sure sounds like Corporatespeak. Never use a fifteen-cent word when you can find a ten-dollar word to do the same job!
