Question about Lily [DH Spoiler, kind of.]
I have a question about Evans sisters... [DH Spoiler]
以下、７巻で書かれた内容に触れます。瑣末ですが、ご注意ください。
So, Lily is the younger sister of them, and Petunia is the older, right?
But I'm confused,
because I had thought Lily was the older.
In Japanese PS/SS, the translator mentioned Lily as the younger of them (note: Japanese language doesn't have words which can mean both younger and older of sisters/brothers. We always have to mention "younger" or "older".) without asking JKR, just because she wanted to, for her own private reason. (*groan*).
Anyway, then she finally asked JKR or her agent about it, and the answer was "Lily = older, Petunia = younger", she said. So she corrected the term in the later books.
.... Now you understand my confusion here, don't you? :P
So, do you know any article/interview/whatever which can solve problem?
