Here's a generic "Hello, World"
This is my inaugural post on my new blog. My old one is being retired because it was time to leave things of the past behind and focus on new beginnings and new adventures. With any kind of luck, this blog will be relatively free of the maudlin, sad, depressive things that characterized so much of my writing over the past few years.
It is my hope that I'll be able to maintain my focus on positive goals such as my art, my career, and my friendships and spend less time dwelling on what was, what could have been, or what will never be.
