So, As per request, heres a real post.
Things that have happened of late: I am now happily a full time employee at a Worcester based steel mill construction company. This is after a year and a month of contracting. (The lest they could have done was make it a year and a day. But they like stretching these things out.) My manager at said company wants to have me do some travel for the company, partly for training. So today I got boosters for all sorts of vaccines, just in case they send me to locations like India, China, Brazil or Cleveland.
Now that I'm fully employed, I'm hoping to be purchasing a laptop this weekend. My old laptop just died this past fall. One of he components on the motherboard fried, and a new board would run almost the same as a new bottom line laptop. So instead, I've just decided its time to buy a new, near the top of the line laptop. Probably a Dell xps, so far I like Dells, and I can get a bit of a discount on them through work.
