I honestly think this season has the best anime in recent times, so I'm gonna update the list of what I'm currently watching (only new season titles). Pictures are shamelessly taken from animenewsnetwork site, because they're a nice size and show the important stuff. And I'm darn lazy.

1.One Outs
This will turn out to be my favorite anime of the list since I just can't resist a gorgeous male lead, sport betting theme, great art and animation and Masato Hagiwara's sexy sexy voice *swoon*
To show how utterly awesome Toua is I actually learned how to make a gif (geez, like it's so hard -_-;) so I can cut some of his awesome moments *_* from the anime. Regretfully they turned out to be too big coz I didn't have the heart to cut any of his body parts to lessen the size of the file, hence lj refuses me the pleasure of decorating my entry with Toua's dreamy self. Good thing is I managed to make one small enough for lj to accept, so I'm putting it at the very bottom of this post. Awesome Toua turning his head to stare (he also turns his upper body where you can see some nice muscle movement, but daarn I had to cut that out for size's sake). Initially I intended to make that one my avatar, but it's too big for that heh. HEH!

2.Kurozuka
My next favorite for now. The first episode is jaw-dropping and the action scenes are a masterpiece. The story is still a bit hazy at this point, but it's safe to say it's a vampire/immortality theme. Basically, it's from the action genre. The visuals are so good they make you feel like you're out of your own body. I was stuck to the screen from beginning to end thinking how is it possible for someone to draw something so wonderful. Thankfully, the plot doesn't seem to be concentrated on the vampires, till now there have appeared only 2 and they seem more like the eastern concept of vampires than the western one. I find that truly refreshing.

3.Nodame Cantabile Paris Hen
What can I say, it's Nodame. Looking forward to the comedy, relationship dynamics and the classical music. I also love the animation and the fact that the anime closely follows the manga storyline (although they omit some things but, oh well, it makes reading the manga more entertaining).

3.Kuroshitsuji
The more I watch this the more I like it. It's obvious that it's aimed at the female audience but I think guys can safely watch it too. An adorable cocky young earl, his gorgeous and capable demon butler (bound by a contract of course) and lots of intrigue and beautiful action scenes is what this anime is about xD. I'm already hooked. The animation is also superb.

3.Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae
Well, I was quite surprised to see a new season of this series but I'm beyond myself with happiness. I love Hellgirl from the bottom of my black black heart and I'm eager to see more of her :D. Visuals are even more amazing than before; there are some annoying shoujo ai hints thrown, the male otaku's dream no doubt (moe factor went down for me though, beh :P); and the tone of the anime has changed. It has some comedy now, which looks ridiculous at times. The motive behind Ai's services seems to have changed too, it's like she changed her mindset. I'll have to wait to find out in the latter episodes no doubt. Her "Ippen shinde miru?" is as kawaii as ever xD!

3.Skip Beat
I adore the manga so I was overjoyed when the anime came out. For now it faithfully follows the manga and that also makes me happy. I'm a bit disappointed with the animation though. Unlike the titles above, this one has colors too bright, motions too stiff, it makes my soul cry since I can't help but compare it to the rest. Once you get used to that and ignore it, the anime is pretty neat and I love it. If nothing else, it's an entertaining and different shoujo series when you compare to what's been coming out ~_~;. Main character is determined, strong and interesting. The anime has a plot that is actually going somewhere and the more you go into the story the more detailed it gets. <3

4.Mouryou no Hako
It's Clamp with a mature style! The story is a mystery, it's confusing and barely makes sense for now. I suspect I'll have to see 2 or 3 more episodes for the pieces to click together but it seems like it would be a deep one :D. The animation and art is great and I love the effects with the light and colors they use.

4.Toradora
School romance comedy is the best description for this one if we're talking about genre. What I like about it is how unconventional it goes (for now). The main characters are lovable and most of the funny moments are actually funny. The animation is cute and there is some wild action going at some points xD. It's a feel good anime for me.

4.Kannagi
MOE. -_-; Heck if I know, there's something about it that's lovable. I sincerely laughed at some moments and the animation is nice and dynamic. The story is about this boy who carves the figure of a girl out of a sacred wood piece and then the protecting spirit (or god) possesses it and then starts living with said boy, uncomfortable and suggestive scenes follow. Nothing unexpected so far. But it's just so brilliant most of the time that I can forgive whatever blinding suggestive*beam shot aimed at me. It's quite similar to Suzumiya Haruhi in a way, though it's less annoying.

5.Junjou Romantica 2
Shounen ai series that is surprisingly well-drawn for its genre. It's not particularly interesting, I'm just watching it for the sake of seeing some BL action, since it's such a rarity, it's to be appreciated xD.

6.Hakushaku to Yousei (Earl and Fairy)
Shoujo. At its worst. It's like watching an animated otome game (*otome game is aimed at girls: the objective is to get into a romantic relationship with one of the many male characters there and achieve some task like saving the world or something, much like a reversed version of a bishoujo game(guy getting his pick of a harem full of pretty girls)). Every time I watch a new episode of this anime I think how is it possible for anyone to swallow that load of nonsense. Every time they flash me with some moment dripping with cheesiness I cringe and wonder what the animators were feeling at that moment. It seems the plot is there only to make up an excuse for the female character to meet the male characters and embark on a pointless journey with them. So why am I even watching it?! Coz I'm a freakin girl, that's why. I just can't help myself, geez. The animation and the artwork is pretty, the guys are pretty, and I just shut an eye and a half for the rest. And even though I snort at the romantic moments and cringe at the "action" scenes I still watch on to see how bad it can get. So there! xD

Maybe some other time I can post the rest of the list of anime I'm currently watching. Including the new ones there's a total of 31 titles, greedy creature that I am.
