After a whole night watching hip hop videos and just plain dancing competitions, I quite liked this video with kids dancing. The girls in the beginning are so awesome, the choreography is the best <3! ( Read more... )
Ah, you mentioned two titles that I've been meaning to watch. I even downloaded Nabari no Ou but I have yet to watch it. Hearing you say it's fancy makes me want to get to watching it as soon as possible. :D
Also, I started watching another new anime. I took to it rather quickly (during the first five or so minutes test period I gave it, lol) and I think you could give the first ep a try and see if you'll take to it as well. It's called Soul Eater and, while the main story told in the first few minutes kind of annoyed me, because of the awesome fight scenes and the extremely good use of a Scythe in a fight on the main characteress' part, I'm willing to forgive everything else, lol. Really, do give it a try. Here's a trailer to see where the animation's at as well:
Happy birthday again, Greti-chan! <3 And I love Sousuke. :DDDD He's such a dork chewing like that. :D
Oh, Soul Eater. Yep, I've also seen the first episode. It's cool but I have to wait for some more episodes to decide my feelings about it. I also liked the fighting scenes and the creepy sun and moon with their big toothy murderous grins. But there were a few things that I found a bit irritating. Like the cat-witch, shinigami-sama (looks like a character from a kiddie anime). The animation style reminds me too much of Digimon Tamer (or whatever it was called), though I could like it because of the good dynamics

Oh, so you've seen the first ep! xD I hadn't suspected. But the next one came out just yesterday or something like that so I'm giving you a heads-up in case you decide to see what your feelings towards it will be at the end of this episode. I share your sentiment on the cat-witch and shinigami-sama. They kinda ruin the serious mood when there actually is one but I don't mind it because it all seems rather kiddy to me in the first place, even though the dynamic of the animation more than makes up for it for me

So it wasn't only me thinking that the manga is a galaxy away better -_-;; The first episode of SA annoyed me to no end. I could have forgiven it if there was at least one bishie to adore, since shoujo manga isn't that challenging about plots. And what was with that guy throwing off his necktie as a dramatic effect?! Lame... So lame... I haven't seen Vampire knight yet and I kinda hoped it would follow the manga, the srtwork seems similar at least. Spin-off you say =__=...
I already got the torrent file for Soul Eater. I don't give up on anime I think has potential, so I'll be persistent in following it. Unless it screws up majorly, it'll be one of the series I'm going to stalk this season xD. A fangirl needs variety after all.
Ah, so you'd seen the manga of SA before too. I hadn't but after seeing the first episode I thought it wasn't too bad and gave the manga a shot. I have to say that after that totally lame-ass moment with the necktie and the open shirt (totally useless and show-off like behavior that Kei wouldn't take to even though his self-esteem always sky rockets) and the shitty second episode, I think that I'm only going to watch the anime, possibly only because of nerve-strengthening. And I couldn't be too sure for Vampire Knight--a friend of mine mentioned that the second episode isn't as bad as the first one was, so, yeah... It might be actually worth a shot.
Variety is very important, definitely. *nod, nod* We shall stalk it together then! :D
