Yuletide nominations have started. There is also a tracking post for seeing what has been nominated/approved. I joined the throng this time around; I'm still on the fence on what writing I will do this winter. I nominated Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods series, Fire Gown by Michael Swanwick, and the new Bletchley Circle series. I've seen the first episode of the last one and I've quite liked it a lot.

One pleasant surprise: girlyb_icons has returned. Or rather her large archive was restored. Her icons covered a wide range of topics from animals and colors to ancient civilizations and countries/cities of the world.
