I am not really a gamer, per se. I don't play console games and I don't play Guild Wars or World of Warcraft. However I hang around several WoW people, so I can translate gamer language in my head. Welcome to the wonderful world of gaming, where this happens ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Can't count how often I've yelled "I am not a dude!" at Battlefront. Although I suppose you can fanwank it with the Imps, since there's no canon on female Stormtroopers that I know of, and definitely there were no female Clone Troopers-- but the Rebels had girls, folks.
(As opposed to World of Warcraft, wherein I actually *am* a dude. ;)
