First post & introductions
Welcome to wabbitseason, where the hunting of screwy plotbunnies is not only encouraged, but sometimes a necessity.
This journal will be about my writing and my attempts to write. You'll hear more of my "boring" research and what I'm working on and what I'm struggling with. You'll meet my fandoms, my muses, my bunnies and occasionally you'll see some ficlets. I can't promise that the bunnies will behave. I can't even promise that they won't just multiply faster.
But I've been on a low ebb on writing for quite awhile. There was a time when I was writing quite regularly like gangbusters, almost to the point I needed to remind myself to study and sleep. And then through fannish and personal headaches, my muses disappeared. I join fandoms with the early enthusiastic fervor, only to leave a trail of incomplete fic in my wake.
To wit, I've tried everything else. Why not this?

Methos: 5000 year old immortal from the Highlander universe.
Giles: Former watcher/librarian. British exposition guy. Buffy:TVS.
Jenny Calendar: Much mourned gypsy computer teacher. Buffy:TVS & VR5 crossover.
Oliver Sampson: VR5 liaison for Committee. Sometimes he appears as Giles.
Hilary Booth: Broadway star and WENN's resident diva.
Simon Ross: Inspector of Vancouver Homicide. "Cold Squad". See Methos sometimes.
Alison McCormick: Sgt in Vancouver Homicide. Head of "Cold Squad".
Sara Pezzini: Detective, NYPD, wielder of the "Witchblade". TV universe.
Other odd characters you may meet:
Lt. Jayne Lesley: "Miss Parker" for an occult RPG universe.
Graham Black: Based on Sir Anthony Hopkins. Jayne's liaison.
Kay Malloy: Northern Irish figure skater. Olympic champion. Ambrose RPG.
Alexandria "Alix" D'Armagnac: French vampire from the old vampyres@guvm list.
And my avatars: [I refuse to call them "Mary Sues" because I have this vain notion that somehow I'm a better writer than that]
Alena Avery: Sometimes "Avery" is an empath OC in an occult style universe inspired by the Champions role playing game. Avery has also also appeared as a veteran commander of a Starfury squadron on Babylon 5. [I must have a thing about fighter pilots. One of my early avatars was a Robotech fighter pilot; she resurfaced also in military fiction as a pilot in the Russian-American "war games" maneuvers.]
Teresa Morgan (Teleri) : Every Highlander fanfiction writer seems to have their own immortal. Mine is a nearly 2000 year old immortal from Wales just before the Romans invaded. She first bumped into Methos in the 12th century England in the border abbey of... Shrewsbury.
Oh, yes, and one other special mention:
Player: an unseen character from the cartoon series of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" who is matching wits against that double dealing diva. She tends to look rather... familiar.
