Morrison has never figured out WW. That much is evident in any given JLA story he's written. To him, she's a fighter. Nothing more. I'm proud of him for reading some history, but I think he went too far back. We all know WW's evolved quite a bit as a character since the Golden Age. He needs to read up on Perez and Rucka...you know, guys who actually understood and respected the character during their tenure.
Final Crisis isn't about distilling anything. It's about stalling for time and making some cash while DC figures out how to reboot the system again. Pathetic, really.
