Looking through old notes again
Another weekend of trying to clean the apartment. If anything, I think it looks worse than it did before. That's pretty depressing in and of itself. I'm going through my papers and getting really depressed looking at old fanfic. I found a season one Jenny/Giles piece I never finished. I'm really tempted to rewatch a few Buffy episodes to see if I could finish the story. Or dig through old Czech/Eastern European folklore and see what I was trying to create with my MacGuffin-guardian-thingy.
And there's the whole folder of season two "Cold Squad" fanfic. (The original Canadian show, not the CBS "Cold Case" that came later.) Peter Wingfield appeared in the second season, so I wound up getting the tapes from someone, back before ahem-ing was an art form. To my knowledge, they never syndicated those episodes (or released dvds!), just the later seasons, so we saw the departure of Peter's character. God I remember how badly some of the fandom reacted to Ali after that two parter. Can say fandom turns on a dime? Especially where female characters are involved, oh, yes, we can.
