Do you believe in magic?
I'm enjoying a somewhat leisurely Sunday until the game starts, mostly clearing off a few things off the dvr. Randomly I found Cristine Rose playing a figure skating coach on some Disney movie. I loved how they showed the calendar and on one date is "US skating championships". Really? Because it runs for a whole week, including the novice and junior events. Typical skating vs hockey fare from what I could see.
Then I watched Hallmark's "The Good Witch" with Catherine Bell and Chris Potter. JAG meets Silk Stalkings by way of Forever Knight. Because there as the Mayor's nosy wife was Catherine Disher. Disher seems to be all over the place lately, between that and "The Border". I actually quite liked the movie. The movie wound up reminding me a lot of "Chocolat". Yes, predictable in places, but nice for watching on a balmy (50s??) January afternoon. Interestingly the ghost story that crops up in movie was inspired by a Willard library. They even have their own ghost cam.
I saw the first episode of "The Border". I know American networks are interested in it. Have they actually watched the show? Especially the promo for the second episode... not exactly American friendly. Not that Hollywood is above a few zingers at the status quo, but this is more like a RPG, but a polite one, of course.
