Year in Review Meme

YEAR IN REVIEW: Take the first sentence (or two) from the first post of each month of 2007. That's your year in review.

Jan: So I just inhaled the rest of SPN season one. That is one helluva roller coaster ride.

Feb: Blood Ties trailer for Lifetime up on Youtube. They've hyped the romantic/sexy/shippy aspects of the series, rather than the supernatural, but hey, that aspect is completely canon.

Mar: Whew. Now that picfor1000 is out of the way, I can concentrate on other things.

Apr: I survived the first round of weir_lims. The feedback is useful but frustrating.

May: merfilly is setting up a Memorial Day fic/art challenge with mostly DC characters and some other fandoms and lyrics.

June: Because of my travel chaos, I didn't have as much time to get settled and post reports the way I was last year.

July: I did eventually wind up liking season two of "Justice League", but it started off surprisingly slow.

Aug: In August 1947, a brassy heroine with Veronica Lake blonde hair, kickass attitude, and trademark fishnets waltzed into the DC Universe by charming Johnny Thunder in Flash Comics #86.

Sept: So the Multiverse authors have been revealed. Netgirl wrote my lovely "An end has a start".

Oct: So marag is evil. We know this. We accept this. We have ways of dealing with this.

Nov: With all the depressing articles about the state of store-bought Halloween costumes, especially if you're a girl, it's always nice to see the homemade ones.

Dec: I am 12 again. I discovered a lovely blog entry by Shaenon K. Garrity discovering the Amethyst maxi series in the cheap bins.

I need to start pulling together links for my annual "Fannish Year in Review". It's funny. I never believe I'm remotely prolific, until I pull together that list and go "They could be right after all".

And I'm contemplating a change in my LJ layout. I don't feel like looking at Atlantis right now. I'm thinking of using a scan from "Wonder Woman: Hiketia" -- appropriate today since it shows Diana looking outside at a cold snowy day. Should I leave it as is or add textures/etc? No clue what lyric/caption/quote to use if any... things to ponder.
