Free Comic Book Day tomorrow
So Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow May 5th. I am planning to forego my usual haunt and swing by Big Planet instead. In some ways, it's easier to get to the Georgetown branch by bus than Falls Church. Alas I'm not sure I have 10 books to manage the minimum subscriptions. I'll take along the old want list. I'm going to need reading material for Media West. For New Yorkers, the NY Times decided to do a tour of the various comic shops in all the five boroughs from Manhattan to Staten Island to Brooklyn and Queens and the Bronx. I even learned to my amusement that they've released a collection of the early Alpha Flight series. Obviously I haven't been paying attention to the Marvel side of things.
