At least the dentist visit was just a regular cleaning and not something more substantial. "It'll wear off in two hours" was more like five or six in my case.

I'm assuming you just didn't parse it as a question (easily understandable, given that I guess I wasn't clear in writing it as one :(). here. I am, though, asking "how do I do this?" Also, do you know of anywhere that's not fandom-specific to ask for fanfic writing advice?

Hmm... the only one immediately coming to mind is fanficpen, but I can't remember if it's for more grammar stuff. I can ask my friendslist if that'll help.

Okay, I asked the flist. I didn't know what other advice you needed, so I couldn't be more specific, but it does sound like fanficpen's mod is amenable to writing questions. I didn't know whether to link to your creative journal as an example or not.
