Whew. Now that
picfor1000 is out of the way, I can concentrate on other things. I still have my
ordinarymoments story to write, but that's fairly short. I keep making stabs at it, but the mood is never right. I'll have to find time to watch some episodes. I'm losing my snark capabilities! I also need to work on a story for

Totally random - I'm driving into DC tomorrow to meet thekatebeyond, and I don't want to have to actually go into the city to park. I was looking at some of the metro lots. Should I just do one of those, or do you think that because it's the off season I might be able to find a spot in town?

How long do you need to be parked? I honestly wouldn't recommend trying to find a place downtown, unless you went for one of the parking garages. Metro would be better, but keep in mind, on a week day, they fill up extremely fast. It'll all depend on when and where you go.

A few hours. We're meeting up in the morning, around 10, 10:30ish. Then we are staying until late afternoon. It all really depends on where I pick her up. If I pick her up at her hotel in Maryland we can probably get a shuttle and I can leave the car there. If I pick her up at National, then I'll have to find a place to park. I *hate* driving in cities.
The only two places I have ever parked in the city are at Arlington Cemetery (which closes at 5pm) and at Pentagon City Mall.
I didn't even think about the metro lots filling up.
