X2 related screen caps & fic
jordannamorgan, I've capped as many Storm & Nightcrawler moments from X2 as I could find and put them in my Picasa web album. I also capped one of the deleted scenes which showed them together. If you need a zip archive of them, let me know and which download service you can use. marag, if you need caps of Jubilee at the museum, I did those too. I'm so tempted to do a "There's a story here somewhere" type icon in honor of your fic.
I also wrote a little ficlet while I was waiting for the computer to cooperate. Storm's POV on meeting Nightcrawler:
Remarkable
His skin color is the least remarkable thing about him. His body is covered in markings. He calls these angelic symbols his penance for each of his sins, God's retribution for his birth. He has lived a life none of us at Xaviers can imagine, put on display for a little show and acrobatics. He could been one of those monstrous creatures on display at the museum. That is how the world thinks of mutantkind -- meant to be locked away and forgotten. Yet of all the places he could hide, he chose this old Catholic church. He still lights his little candle and offers up his prayers. For what? For living in a world that fears and mistrusts him? With all that he's seen, with all he has experienced, he still believes in the good of people, even the ones who'd cringe at the very sight of him. He doesn't even hate them. That is the most remarkable fact of all.
