I did manage to post my stagesoflove story. Alas for those minded "Bedtime Stories" does not meant what you think. I know some of you are so disappointed. Only one week left in that challenge.
As I am wont to do, I changed my mind again, going back to the John/Elizabeth idea for picfor1000, minus the surprise. I think part of my problem was it didn't quite fit the mood I wanted with the ending. Classic case sometimes of starting with what you know you want to happen in the story and work backwards from there.
I desperately want to enter icons in sga_stills this time around. The challenge is Ancients, so I've been going through "Before I Sleep" and "Rising" caps for inspiration. I discovered one thing from capping the Melia, Janus and Elizabeth scene in "Before I Sleep". While the scene goes back and forth between Melia and Janus, we never get the pull back shot to show them in the scene together. So that promo shot on "New Atlantis" is all I've got on that front. Almost as frustrating as "Duet" was for caps purposes, since Rodney and Laura are never right next to each other, aside from when they're in the infirmary beds.
