The things I watch...

for my interest in Joe Flanigan. I've managed to avoid the "Birds of Prey" television series up until now. But he was a guest star in an episode and so I decided "How bad could it be?" Um, whiskey tango Gotham? *shakes head* I sorta get why people liked Dina Meyer as Oracle. Her wheelchair looked a little "space age" ridiculous though. I did not like what they did with the Huntress. Then again it was coming after "Batman Returns" when Catwoman's origins were more supernatural and less street influenced. And wow did Joe play an outright bastard of a character. Looks great in a suit as usual, but that's beside the point. Not even a little tolerance for the meta community, just they're all monsters, end of story. The suggestion he was warped version of Dick Grayson? More than a little scary. On the other hand, he might blame the metas for Batman's "disappearance"/death, so I could see that blame turned into full blown hatred. A Bat metahuman would be interesting, since that whole "family" is so human in all the screwed up dysfunctional ways that term suggests. How they'd even deal with using something other than their own talents...

Tried something a little different with the icon, but it didn't quite turn out the way I'd hoped... not unlike the wallpaper I finished this afternoon. *sighs* If at first you don't succeed, delete a layer or two and try again?
