Come on up for the rising...
I'm still a little irritated by the Atlantis syndication edits. I just hope the episodes after the pilot won't get the same treatment.
But rewatching the same part of "Rising" that has showed up in syndication, I noticed something. It really is all John's fault. I had always assumed the Wraith showing up on Athos was a necessary plot coincidence, but they come through the gate after John finds Teyla's old necklace, the one we learn is a Wraith beacon in "Hide and Seek". So not only does he wake up all the Wraith, he's really responsible for bringing them to Athos as well. Ouch. That provides an interesting knife twist for the John/Teyla relationship if they ever thought about it that way. Not that they would.
And some weird reason, I was watching the helicopter sequence and thinking how different the Stargate universe if the drone had succeeded in finding its target.
