I just got the weirdest phone call at practically MIDNIGHT! Who calls that late? It's usually bad news, right? Unless it's my friend, Cory calling.. she'll call at any hour. But this phone call wasn't her. It was some guy calling which freaked me out and we lost the connection right after he said hello. At first I thought it was some harassing sales call because when I slammed the phone down, preturbed that some telemarketer or collections person would call this late, I noticed that it was an 888 number.
Now I am thinking that it might be my cousin Rachel's husband, Brent calling from his business line out in Napa Valley. Rachel is overdue with baby #3 and maybe it was news about her and the baby. And since he isn't the brightest tiger in the forest, he probably isn't thinking about the vast time difference between California and Indiana.
Hopefully, Rachel will call me tomorrow if it was about her....
Well, I googled the phone number and the company is a telemarketing scam trying to get bank information for an online credit card. So I reported the company to the state's attorney general.
