Hugh Laurie, Angry Lesbians, Anime, GH:E, and Art.
...Huh?
- Art classes are becoming very annoying. I always seem to have two projects going on at once...and I'm not used to that. x.X The one I'm doing right now is kinda cool though: I'm designing Hugh Laurie's face out of magazine text. I'm not sure what purpose this serves, maybe it relates to contour line? Ah, well.
I turned in my first Alternative Drawing Methods portfolio today. I'm pretty confident with most of my assignments, except for one: the Altered Self-Portrait. Basically, I had to draw what I'd look like if I were born as a girl.
I'll let that sink in.
But-yeah, there's no other way of saying this: I think I came out looking like a pissed-off lesbian. NOT WHAT I HAD INTENDED...but I'll take it. God, I hate drawing realistic faces realistically.
- I'm hooked on the anime known as Death Note. I know, I know, I'm kinda late on this one. Koba, I remember you recommended I watch it, but I put if off for the longest time. I gotta stop doing that. I also rented the Ghost in the Shell movie. I KNOW, I'm terribly late on this one. I started to watch it a while ago, but I never got to finish it. ;>.>
- I finally rented Guitar Hero: Encore, and I now understand the public's reaction of "Oh...how underwhelming." It's an okay game, and not much more can be said. Although, playing "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls and "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors...well, that just makes me happy for some reason ^^;. But-yeah, no way would I actually buy the game, too high a price with too little content.
- BACK TO ART. I do have some drawings that I need to scan and upload...I just need to transfer them to actual drawing paper, as opposed to the pages of my notebooks. I'll get to work on that after my Hugh Laurie text project is done.
