...I felt the need to share this.
The shit's supposed to hit the fan at 6pm (that is, 6pm EVERYWHERE. It crawls along the time zones. If it's already 6pm by you, then I hope you're having fun). Hopefully, I'll be somewhat inebriated by then. But, if it's anything like the Metalocalypse, there should be blood, tits and fire. Yeah, tits. The earth's gonna open up and giant disembodied boobs are gonna come out, flailing and smiting the nonbelievers. Totally.
Which is making me think, do we know what the Metalocalypse is yet? I know it's probably been discussed before, but in the spirit of Rapture Day, I feel like poking at the subject. Has it, as Ravenwood said, already begun? Do you think it's a series of events like the mass deaths at Dethklok's concerts, or is it like one big bloodbath that'll happen towards the end of the series? Personally, I think it'll be somewhere in between: a bunch of little shits leading up to one big shit. I've seen some people suggest that the Metalocalypse will be humorously anticlimactic, which I honestly hope doesn't happen. Sure, it'd work with the humor of the series, but it'd be kind of a let-down, y'know? On the other hand, the anticlimax of this RL apocalypse has the potential to win so hard.
