A Wittle Wook Into The Wonderful World of W
I was going to call this post "a little life update" but that is normally followed by the Simmer announcing that they are going on hiatus. As I don't want to fill you with false hope, I decided to go mental on the alliteration/baby talk.
So, my new laptop arrived today and it is gorgeous. 4GB of RAM, 320 GB of storage... It's just lovely - and fortunately well in my budget of £300, so I won't be broke heading off to Uni, despite a swanky laptop (I'll just be borderline poor/typical student!) I have put the Sims 3 on it for now, and it runs very nicely indeed, and I'm hoping to get Sims 2 (plus all the EPs) tomorrow (by blue Sims 2 disk has a massive crack, so I'll have to borrow one of the cousin's.)
In other news, university is now only a fortnight away (-ish). In terms of material things (pots, pans, pens, pads etc.) I'm not too prepared, but I've got a good amount of money saved and my laptop is now safely with me... so I'm feeling optimistic. My mate's started a Tumblr blog about his Uni life... But I've got a blank leather-bound booklet I've been saving that I think I want to use as a diary/journal. I think I'd like to look back on my experiences one day - but I doubt it'll be a daily thing... you know how diaries end up.
So, that's my little life at the moment... How are you all doing? I'm feeling rather chatty so leave me a comment! :) I'm heading to bed soon, but it'd be nice to have something to do tomorrow.
(And apologies for bad spelling/grammar... it's 1.36am here and we all know what that does to our linguistic abilities!)
