Holy Weekend: both good and bad.
Holy Week for the Catholics was here,
and although today i lost my wallet ( along with 10 dollars cash, my house key, ez-link card, club and shop membership cards, POSB ATM cards, and many other personal stuff: if you find it, please return it to me!!) on the bus whilst i was mugging KI, and sprained my ankle from triple pirouettes during tap dance lesson,
i'm proud to present 2 sets of baked goods that i spent holy week with.

Hot Cross Buns that i baked on Good Friday and were surprisingly successful
the Easter Thanksgiving card for Easter Sunday's Brunch that i very proudly made with my friend (:
Even though i'm extremely disappointed with myself for once again losing a precious item,
i can't help but hope this will be a lesson for myself, that such an incident will not happen again, and i will be a more cautious and attentive person.
As much as the day has gone wrong, in most parts of it, it has gone right as well.
and everything happens for a reason; i believe that God decided it was only fair that my day was going so well, that i should lose my wallet and sprain my foot to teach me holy week is not over.
( moreover, i think its retribution for not having gone for penitential and easter vigil- went for the rest though)
With the arrival of Easter, i've been questioning myself even more often than before on my weakening faith, of whether i really do believe that my God exists and reigns, and died to save the world and Humanity for us.
& after reading my KI notes, i feel guilt ridden for having doubted:
" Must we really light a candle to see the Sun?... The electron is materially inconceivable, and yet it is so perfectly known through its effects that we use it to illuminate our cities, guide our airliners through the night skies and take the most accurate measurements"

My God is great, and this Easter i hope to learn the bravery, loyalty, filial piety and faith that he had.
