Dissolution of parliament
I should be studying - and trust me I know I should be but I'm so burnt out it seems almost impossible to focus beyond 20 minutes.. and what's worse is that I haven't even covered half the syllabus - brilliance.
Nonetheless, while I'm attempting to jam my head with public law - constitution and all that jazz, i think it is only appropriate that I welcome in the dissolution of parliament for the 14th general election in Singapore with a blog post!! (Y)))!! because it's clearly the most exciting thing a person my age *who still cannot vote* should be obsessed with.. ironically though, its the only thing that has created much of a buzz in the study room and on my twitter feed over the past 2-3 weeks or so
The entire online sphere is abuzz on nomination and polling day, as michael thng is openly plotting a way to come back to Singapore, on my twitter feed, so that he may partake in these elections

This might well be the smartest-sounding post I have also posted in my entire god-knows-how-many-years of blogging and I'm amused that for once I don't sound like some twat who wants to eat every other thing in the world (although i'd be lying if i said I didn't have chocolate wrappers and drink containers littered around me + am having a terrible craving for sour gummies and starbucks)
That being said, I've pondered over the last few days whether it is unfortunate that I am neither hot nor sweet nor your ordinary law student who doesn't look cui every day.. because I am possibly the epitome of fugly at the rate I'm chucking chocolate and well not grooming myself properly.. for goodness sake, my jacket stinks of buddy and probably hasn't been washed in 3 weeks.. can you blame me?
And as afore blogged about.. neither am I littered with endorsements/ chanel items/ expensive things because I just purchased a groupon to get a subsidy to eat xiao long baos at paradise dynasty.. I mean.. BE AUNTY LIKE ME. that's the way to go friends.

SO the dream of ever living off my blog via endorsement (cue dawn yang's recent newspaper interview about how her parents wished she had a more stable job and how she has to work hard to upkeep her blog,...which layout at present is an eyesore because her giant picture shows that she either needs to get some sleep/ do something about her blood shot eyes which i suspect might be a result from too much surgery or partying) is dead because like I've said above - I am neither sweet nor hot nor do I stand for justice.. and I don't have expensive things/ photoshopped photos to blog about.
I will however blog about how cute my dog is and how much of a hazard my study room friends (and I) are:
on a good day, we only jam up the power socket with 4 chargers
on a normal day we jam it up with 4 chargers, with 3 more chargers lying on the floor hoping to get plugged in (and trust me if we had our way we might add in a few more multi-plugs at the risk of starting a fire)
oh. and we''re very good at tripping people with the multiple tangles of wires lying around
can you blame us? We're studying public law.. it's dry, massive, time consuming and incomprehensible. take pity on us
(and on the fact that we're going to be spending easter sunday in this dreaded room, so if you're around please drop me some easter eggs thanks - preferably dark chocolate ones )
and I've contemplated tonnes of times sending buddy's photo in to IKEA
dude makes his basket look damn comfortable to sleep in (and he's always sleeping)
I've also contemplated praying that god will let me be a dog like buddy in my next life- because it's a non stop supply of food (good food at that), sleeping, being pampered and well getting to stand at the window and talking/ barking at the cat downstairs and anyone who walks into my estate (apparently my neighbours asked wati why buddy is always crying/ why he's such an unhappy resident barking at and scrutinizing everyone who comes through the gates)
