Yesterday was awesum for most of it- I pretended that LAWR didn't exist and gamely went wakeboarding with Kang and James despite not having started on 20% of my grade- boo.
but it was so deliriously fun- it made me forget how stupid and incompetent i felt in torts tutorial, cleared up my head for LAWR and reminded me of the thrills I used to experience when I used to sail
final decision:
i'm joining NUS wakeboarding. screw upper 2.
I also managed to do my first trick- done completely unintentionally much the Jame's and Kang's amusement and my back leg was so tired I thought it was going to disintegrate on the board as i attempted to carve through the water.
I think what sailing has ingrained in me is a tolerance for salty water in my nose, mouth and eyes and more importantly, a love for all boat rides, water sports and thrilling experiences.
I'm also glad to announce that I've gained the approval from my mom to go to Batam on wednesday and join the NUS wakeboarding team on their cable skiing bonanza <3 yay.
I also managed to meet up with Joy and Delle at Raffles City Starbucks and finally constructed my argument for the Memo due in 12 hours ( and I haven't exactly started) much to my delight. Rushing down to Changi Airport to bid farewell to Zee as she furthers her amazing art abilities in Goldsmiths, London, I was once again reminded of all the people who have left our dull Singapore shores and how I was so close to doing so too.
I miss all of you dearly and I truly hope you guys have the time of your lives <3
The ride back wasn't as pleasant and essentially, I wound up getting scolded by my dad for the most ridiculous of reasons and majorly abused by my fluffy dog- who clearly feels he's been deprived of my attention since school started sucking up all my time
zhe zhe? wake up and play with me please?
school just isn't the same without you guys :(
yesterday I sat my last train ride to changi airport for at least the next 3 months- until all those overseas come back for winter break. see you guys soon- I can't believe you left me here.
and now, i'm back to my LAWR assignment which I will hopefully finish before the sky turns dark today- wish me luck!
(noisy students need to be chased out of coro starbucks *frowns*)
