paranoiascreams woke me to the reality that petitions will only bring JRock within the mainstream radar and thus COMPLETELY RUIN IT, whenever I see petitions for JRock bands to perform in the Philippines, I die a little inside. and about lives, i'm not saying don't go to ANY of their lives. hell, i'm saving up money to go to japan to see all the lives that i can. my point is i don't want them to just become a trend where people only like them because they look different, and then pretending to get into their music when in reality, it's just about being "in".
and yeah, maybe i do have a little bit of possessiveness when it comes to them. probably because i live in a different environment where music appreciation tends to be usually linked to "what can make me look cool".

Fame? Okay. Probably not for what they do but for what they look like.
I've seen emo get mainstreamed and it fucking sucks because i loved emo before it was "cool" to like emo (here, at least) so when these kids started dressing up in emo garb while in fact all they listen to is simple plan or avril lavigne, i couldn't listen to emo anymore.
And I don't want that to happen to Jrock. Not in a million years.

but yanno for every person who does things to be cool there are also people who appreciate the actual work. it would be nice to find all those people and show them what they are missing so to speak. i didn't mean to come off angry or whatever ( tho i probably sounded it) but i get really peeved when music becomes possessions and such...i mean if japan kept it all to themselves i think we would all probably have never even spoke to each other right? the good and the bad to all things? ;)
