My daughter just said the most adorable thing.
She came to me with her new Bratz doll and said ... 'Oh look these jeans weren't made properly, they're ripped.' I explained to her that it was made that way. 'why? she asked, honestly perplexed. And I had to explain that ripped jeans are more fasionable. She seemed happy with that explanation, but it does point out how silly fashion can sometimes be.
