~~Disney's Summer Nightastic Fantasmic~~!
So tonight was the opening night for Disneyland's "new" Fantasmic~~ its supposed to have a new and improved dragon in the show...
which i was really excieted to see...Disneyland was really PACKED today... we arrived in the park at 4:00 PM and people had already started to camp out for their areas to watch Fantasmic... the show starts at 9:00PM.... wooo~~ it looked like a camping area... LOL... blankets all laid out, people sleeping on the floor, and they were all roped in the seating area.
Mii and my sister got premium seating for the show... cuz you know... opening night I knew was going to be super super crowded (which it was), and she's never done the premium thing before, so we got it. You get to sit in a reserved area with one the best views, and you get served desserts and drinks.
They changed the goodie box that you get before the show, now its in a plastic container thing... and there's cheese and crackers...
oh, and these goodies are from the kitchen of "Club 33" ... I think this is going to be the closest I'll ever got to go eat in there... LOL
So anywho~~ the show finished with some very very slight changes to the old one... but ... the Dragon NEVER appeared...
!!??!!? WHAT I thought~~! it's the freaking mascot for the show... its opening night... what the heck!!
When the show ended I turned around and started discussing it with other people, then some guy said that 4 days prior they had a run-through of the show and the dragon's head totally snapped off... and was at the bottom of the lake for a day.... LOL.... OMG.... nice reason...
oh DRAGON you were supposed to be new and IMPROVED....can you imagine if it snapped of durring tonight's show... muahhahaah
THAT would have been an awesome show.... GO MICKEY, GET THAT DRAGON GOOD!!...
anyways, we had fun, we stayed in our seats for the fireworks which started like 5-10min after Fantasmic... that show is changed too~~! it's called "MAGIC" now, but I'm not sure if i like this one as much as the old one "BELIEVE" gotta watch it from main street to really experience it...
Well, can't wait to actually see the "new, NEW dragon...
