Thank you :)

I felt kind of bad taking pics of Bronte at all. I mean, I know I wouldn't want pictures taken of me after the kind of weekend she had. But I was just so damned HAPPY to have her home. *cuddles her sweet black puddin'*

Oh she looks so thin! *cuddles Bronte gently*

And Darwin just looks SO cute I have serious puppy envy!

Yeah -- she does look... kind of pitiful. She's normally between nine and ten pounds, and when I brought her in on Saturday, she was 6.8 lbs. In this picture, I think she was just over 7 lbs. Still, a lot small than she SHOULD be. *crosses her fingers that Bronte will soon once again be a "Bronte-saurus.")

Darwin is so big now!! I remember when he was an ickle bitty puppeh!!

Poor Bronte. *glomps her hard* I love the first picture with the two of them. Kirara's favorite place to be is whereever I've happened to go lately. :D

I know!! He's very nearly full-grown. He's just got a bit more filling-out to do. The vet says he should top out at about 50 lbs. *headshake*

HE WAS TEN POUNDS WHEN WE BROUGHT HIM HOME.

You must be so relieved to have her home again. It's been a rough time, really, hasn't it?

And the pictures are sweet.

It really has been difficult. But... you know, I was prepared for the FeLV diagnosis, and I was bracing myself for it, and now that I've found out it's something that is remotely curable... it's just such a relief. And now I can say to my mother with a smile that, yes, all the expense WAS worth it.
