For whatever reason, this line was probably one of the most brilliant things I've read recently. I can't find the exact quote, but I shall try to do my best to reproduce it. It is the best quote I have ever heard to describe intuition.
It was said by a detective while admiring a woman. (it's one of my Victorian Era books)
Anyway, here it goes:
"I noticed her looking around the room as she subconsciously took in all of those little details that she would one day piece together and call intuition."
I don't know exactly what about that line (which I am sure I have mangled) made such an impression on me, but I just can't help but think it brilliant.
