I've been trying to work on my animatic for new media. I'm going to actually use the ghost in the shell intro music to create these dream like animation. it should be really cool. I'll explain more later when I have a better idea of what I'm going to do. wish me luck.
Friday night was interesting. we went to club logos to see some local bands play. It was pretty fun.
one band was October's Sorrow. their influenced by Cradle of Filth. Put on a good show too for playing the first time together live.
there was three other bands that were quite interesting...I'm not sure if I liked them, but hey, always good to hear new music. Lauren and I went into this hole in the wall bar to grab a drink to help liven our moods but they made like the worst Long Island Tea I've ever had in my life. Plus, they didn't even know what certain mixed drinks were like the Hypnotic Breeze. I should have known by the lovely mixture of COUNTRY (bleck!) and rap and hick music blasting through the speakers that we were taking a chance going in there. According to Lauren, they had cheap ass beer so I guess that is good for all you beer drinkers, but not me. Ick. Beer. :/
so other than that, the rest of the weekend I tried to knock out some homework and relax. I sort of did that I guess...though with it almost being the end of Sunday I'm wishing I could go back and have an extra day to seriously relax. :( oh well.
