As for the back story to the song ? Apparently the first line of the chorus is what Guy Ritchie said to the girlfriend he dumped for Madge ;) (who also is an ex of Robbie Williams)

(I'd love this song if it didn't involve the Pet Shop Boys - the fact that it does, and you can tell the music is very PSB, along with the Boys singing backing lyrics... just makes it even better *grin*)
