If one more person asks "have you done your xmas shopping" i'm going to scream. It seems that's the only question people are capable of asking these days - as if the shopping aspect is the only thing that matters. Anyway, I do all my xmas shopping AFTER xmas :) Oh, and is anyone interested in coming over for Xmas lunch ? *curious*
I've been pretty emo over the last 24 hours, almost to the point of tears sometimes. Watched a preview of Happy Feet with kai_el_solo, Steven and his sister on Monday night and that set me off (it was an AMAZING movie though - I fully recommend it to everyone!) - and a few times today it's happened as well. Spent all of Sunday afternoon and evening helping Kirk move house - we got a ton of stuff moved in a short period of time (well, six hours) - I'm very proud of it, I think having moved house a few times and helping Paul do it as well has made me a lot better at the process :)
Monday about 20 work ppl and I took three boats out to a cove off Rottnest, and we swam and played cricket and ate and drank all day - I got a tan, caught and bowled people out in cricket, met up with harpoonblue who happened to be on the island (tho I gave him bad directions and so he had to cycle around heaps to find me!) and then I got drenched by the swells on the way back cos I sat on the wrong side of the boat up the front on the trip back to the mainland. But it was an amazing day :) I haven't been out on a boat like that in at least 10 years, probably more... :p And I got to drive the little inflateable Zodiac around, and I was actually good at it! :)
But yeah... today was emo, had to deal with a couple of tough things, left me feeling pretty drained, tho I went to the gym and that helped, oddly. And now I'm about to do night work, bleh - least it means I can sleep in a bit tomorrow if all goes well.
