I just decided to make a Supernatural playlist and I ran across the "O Death" song in the episode "Two Minutes to Midnight."
I must admit, there was a slight over explosion of squee.
As such, I must take a moment to fangirl about that particular episode.
Not only was it a fantastic episode (I mean, Crowley was there, and I flipping love him) well written and perfect for where it was placed in the season. I loved it. Meeting the first three Horsemen, I was pleased with how they'd handled them. War was a self-righteous ass, and I loved him. Famine creeped the hell out of me, and I loved him. Pestilance made me want to vomit, and I loved him.
And then there was Death.
Words cannot describe how much epic this character had. From the epic car....
..... to just the fact that he looked so damn BADASS.
I mean.... damn. I seriously cannot tell you how much I'm in love with this character. He makes chills run down your spine, and he's so aloof and above, as though he's more than anyone around him. And the actor, Julian Richings.... so much talent. He made Death feel creepy, terrifying, awe-inspiring, and ancient, and it was brilliant.
SERIOUS. SO. MUCH. EPIC.
Okay. I think I'm done fangirling about that now.
:D
