Gotta say this....
I FINALLY QUIT MY JOB.
That's right, the job at Bob's that I've spent a good 8 or 9 months complaining about on my livejournal, it's gone! I have to admit, I don't think I've ever felt lighter than I do right now. It's like there was a giant weight on my shoulders and now it's just gone into thin air! Thank Chuck!
I didn't just quit willy nilly, though. I do have another job, at a place that's opening up called Pie Hole. It's a pizza by the slice place that's gonna do damn well in this town, considering it's a late night place that sells cheap beer and pizza. I mean come on, college town! They're gonna rock. And just listening to the managers talk when I was being interviewed and offered the job, I'm going to have so much fun. I'm hella excited for that to start up.
So, that's not the only weight that's been lifted. All of the projects that I was so worried about are done, and I'm almost done with my first semester of my junior year. (I know, odd arrangement considering it's Spring semester, but my credits are a little wonky :D) It's a huge surprise, honestly, that this year is already over. It's like... damn, where did the time go? I'm so ready for it to be summer and to get a chance to sit and just relax here with my friends and do some work. I like school, but it's just time for a break.
The best part about this being summer, I get to stay up here in my apartment this time since I have a job. I get to actually hang out with my buddys this year, unlike all of the other summers where I was trapped with my parents. I'll go back down there for 4th of July and for my birthday, but other than that, I'll be where I want to be. I'm damn excited.
So yea. That was all I had to say.
