It's Time for Death

I've decided that all of us Supernatural fans need to get together and find all the people at the CW. Hunt them all down like the assholes they are.

And then we need to set them on fire.

Melty, screamy pain for ALL!

I can't BELIEVE that they would delay Supernatural a week for Nikita and Vampire Diaries! Does Supernatural not have the largest ( Read more... )

okay, okay.... Now that I've thought about it for a little while, it does make a tiny bit of sense. I do sort of get it, but at the same time, there's not a whole lot of sense in it. One of these shows was on after American Idol was over, so there was no reason why that one could not be replayed, and Supernatural could still show on it's regular night. I understand that these shows are relatively young and need the viewers, but at the same time, people who are your loyal viewers will make the decision on which to watch; American Idol has been around a lot longer than these shows, and if I were someone who had to choose between the two, I would choose the new show.

Therefore, I understand you, CW, to a certain extent. But at the same time, this was a downright idiotic move. You've just let down and angered a lot of people, and I hope that there's not a lot of backlash, and that you're prepared for what backlash you're sure to get.

If they would have announced that I dunno a month ago it wouldn't be that bad but seriously why one day before airing?
After tons and tons and TONS of promotion?

What happened at CW? Did they open the TV Guide yesterday and were like "Oh crap American Idol is on tonight, VD and Nikita won't get viewers."? Because seriously? How the hell did they not notice that earlier.

For me it's a sign of really, really, really bad planning.

I'm frustrated because I really looked forward to the epsiode but another week will be "okay" at least a bit xD What pissed me off was that they changed their statement and that it was so last minute.

I agree, bad planning for them. I mean, American Idol had to have been advertising for some time that they were going to release yesterday, right? I dunno.... Stupid CW people.

I still hold with my original statement; if people wanted to watch VD and Nikita, they would have chosen those two. American Idol is a much older show, and if you've been watching it a while, you pretty much know what's gonna happen. In my opinion it doesn't even get really good until they get into the semi finals and stuff anyway. :D

But I guess we've known that they're stupid for some time already xD

Yes, I totally agree with you. It just sucks *sniffel*
