So wow
My semester is over. That means I'm halfway through my junior year, which is like... really crazy to think about. I remember being back in high school, thinking that I would be in school forever, and now I'm down to roughly 2 years left in college, and then I'm going to have to really go out into the world and get a job, a house....
The thought sort of destroys my brain a little bit.
My next semester is going to be interesting and what appears to be fun, although I'm a little scared of my computer programming class. Hopefully I'll get through that with not too much difficulty.
Work is going to be slightly better as well, I'm down to only two shifts in dish room as opposed to the three I'm running right now, so that will make it more tolerable, although I'm starting to get used to being in dish room. Regardless, it will be easier on my back, wrist, and knee, which will help lower my stress level a little bit.
I'll be heading home at the end of this week, and here's hoping that I make it home without crashing and dying horribly. Being on break will probably give me lots of time to get some writing done, and I'm thinking about starting a song and/or word challenge fic for the hell of it. Last time I had trouble getting my muse going I did that in the Star Trek fandom, and I had a ton of fun with that and it gave me a chance to write a lot of things that I wanted to do, but couldn't come up with a full plot for. It'll be in the SPN fandom, of course, and will probably be mostly Sam/Gabriel and Dean/Cas, perhaps with some others mixed in there for fun.
I'll be looking into getting that going this week, as well as continuing to work on my Gabriel Big Bang. So break should be fun! I hope....
