two months til... christmas...
yeah, that's the overwhelming thought of the moment. sad huh. oh well. it's also a month til i (hopefully) am readying to go home for thanksgiving, otherwise it's a month til probably the most depressing thanksgiving of my life. i do NOT want my thanksgiving to be spent in durham (DURBAN) north carolina ;) happy birthday to my fellow kentuckian todd however.
so i last updated on nina's 20th on tuesday... which leaves... wednesday to start with. oh sheesh. i think something was in the water in... that communal northcarolina-ohio-kentucky-missouri water source... serr-iously. classes went by pretty uneventfully, chem lab was fun and exciting as always and i came back and started talking to gomathie online only to have her stop answering me and me freaking out slightly. so first eli called me to make sure i was ok. and then gomathie called me and we talked for awhile and i love her and it KILLS me to have her go through this all alone. so that was a little draining. so then wusi called me later that night and we talked for a little while while she was in louisville getting ready to head back to lexington. and then nina came up and we related on some things and then LESLIE called me depressed which was totally unexpected b/c usually she's the one cheering me up... and it was just ROUGH. like they weren't even my problems but i was incredibly emotionally drained, so you can imagine how long it took me to finish that damn bme lab report (which ended up sucking in the end, like i ker-ed at the moment). hope everyone's doing better by now... went for a late nite walk and played some pool w/marc which helped a lot.
thursday was one of those long days since i had my bme lab. but i got good bonding time w/todd and omaira, complete w/a trip to mcd's and some discussions about stilettos and swishy skirts. good times. almost skipped stats and i kinda wish i had b/c geez, no idea what the man was blabbering on about. but prime random thoughts picking ground ;) OH and best thing ever followed by worst thing ever- DRINA called me! and left me a voicemail and i was SO excited until i ERASED the damn thing and my phone decided NOT to save the # (stupid cell phone WHORE) so she'll probably think i hate her :(... but i don't drina darling! came back and basically said i was going to do nothing so i did laundry (damn fall break ruined the schedule...), helped marc fold his own clothes, and had a smoothie w/kristie. ran into GA and lori @ alpine so we chatted and lori and kristie informed me that i'm mean but HEY, i kept the conversation going ;) besides, ryon can take it. we were supposed to meet up w/jessica and marc but i guess our conversation and my own laundry folding took to long. spent the rest of the night downstairs complete w/the dancing hamster leprechaun that sings come on eileen ;) i love my little hamster leprechaun. i wish i could put him in my pocket and take him around with me. thursday nite was an adventure, as nina soon discovered when kristie and the fugitive came running up breathless.
friday was the usual, failed both quizzes i had for lack of knowledge (stats) and time & a calculator (math). grabbed lunch at the bc w/kristie which was an overstimulating ordeal thanks to the masses of parents in for parents weekend. came back and after not deciding for a good hour, i watched the rock w/marc. then he went off to pick up his mother so i cleaned up my room since i wasn't going to let the room of three boys beat me out ;) did a little homework before kristie and i went to ricks and then the bc to study at around 10. chelsea came by and joined us for awhile but we got a little tired (imagine that, not wanting to study on a friday nite) so we went back to few... except ka's haz(z?)zards of duke party was blaring from kristie's room and i had forgotten my keys so we went to mark's room w/lori and were later joined by marc and jessica who'd been in edens for some late night tv. let's just say 5th wheel is raunchy man. i left for awhile when the girls started cooing over wedding dresses and then i came back to cheer up muh hunny. :(
so now it's officially weekend and i officially need to get on that ass-hauling train. that's right. i need a train for all the hauling that is going to have to go down.
