Everything old is new again.

Alias started its fifth season last night.
Can they ever shoot someone and them stay dead?

I went through several emotions watching the episode. I was glad it was back. I was excited when the rescue workers weren't so rescue-y and more going-to-kill-you. I was wondering while Vaughn's backstory filled in. I was eager with new bad guys this season (you mean it's not a co-worker? See Sloan in prior seasons.) I was confused when Sydney was helping not-Vaughn. I was fearful when another centuries ago Italian name popped up as a quest. I was relieved when it appeared that someone was finally dead from gunshots (bullets do have consequences) and not wearing a bulletproof vest, but miffed when the 20+ bullets seemed to only cause some organ damage and the person was in the hospital recovering after the commercial break. I am doubtful Vaughn died as this is Alias and you never know (we'll see by the season finale if he's not recovering someplace in hiding).

I went Bookcrossing at a class where their breakroom had a bookcase for people to borrow books but one empty bookshelf. Now the shelf is no longer empty as it has eighteen more books. I love giving away books. :-)

Lost is on and two episodes into season two.
I feel that the man down the hatch, Desmond, has a simple enough explanation for Jack having already seen him in Sydney. He is a twin. He didn't recognize Jack after all. It's either a twin, or someone watched too much Star Trek and is playing with timestreams. Meanwhile the others have become a much more sinister force as they will appear ON the island in the next episode. Freaky that clubs are scarier than guns on TV; they're more savage.

lost, bookcrossing, alias
