Mass market publishing
A long time ago, I wondered what the most registered books were at Bookcrossing.com. The site used to have a list searched by ISBN but that meant a title would list multiple times under various published editions. I worked for hours gathering data trying to work out a better list but gave up. Checking the site today and there is now a current listing far more accurate using a title and author search. It's still a bit buggy though as #3 and #39 are the same except for the and/ampersand.
