February is always a difficult month for me. The days are still short and the weather is usually dreary and cold. The shortest month of the year never feels short enough to me! I was glad I had the 101 project to keep me busy.
The current political situation and war sure didn’t help either.
(
Let's see what kind of progress I made in Month Seven, shall we? )
Do you use a cuff blood pressure monitor or wrist? My cuff one was over 20 years old so I bought a wrist one but I don't think it takes an accurate reading for me. It didn't watch up when I took it to the doctor's office with me. *sigh*
I quit thinking about my diet too much and decided I would let weight watchers do it for me so I am tracking with them and finally getting results.

I use a cuff monitor and check every morning. I'm not sure it is entirely accurate, but at least it is consistent and even if it is 10 or 15 points off, I'm still in a good range most of the time. The doc thinks so too and took me off bp meds last summer.
WW is a good program and you're enjoying success, so don't argue with what works, is what I say.

That is amazing that you were able to get off your meds. Was it with diet?

I am also trying to keep diabetes at bay. Per the guidelines here, I am pre-diabetic. My last fasting number was 116 and they like it around 100. 120 and they call it, so I can't mess around anymore. Good luck on your health journey! I am sure you will be off those meds in no time!

An improved diet, weight loss and some moderate exercise surely cannot hurt. Fingers crossed that you can drop - or at least lower the dosage of - the meds.
Yes, diabetes is always a challenge. I'm holding good thoughts for you, that you keep it at bay. You can do this! It just takes time.
