Day 9 of 30 Days of Fannish Thanksgiving
Sorry for the lateness of this post - I wasn't able to get online yesterday. But as a bonus you get two posts from me today. Yay?
Here is a story rec from someone we all know in MFU fandom, spikesgirl58, writing under a different name. I'm going to recommend a story I just read for the first time today. It's not part of any series, but squeezes into the aired-episodes timeline somewhere. The story has it all - action and adventure, agenty-cleverness, humor, nice characterizations, hints about life at HQ - all sorts of interesting little tidbits of canon scattered everywhere. And tying it all together, a delightful storyline.
Can't Live With Him takes the reader on a rollicking gen adventure thanks to one of Napoleon's personality quirks, and by the end of the story we know not only why Napoleon can't live with his partner, but can't live without him, either.
Today I am thankful that there is always something new to discover in fandom, because there are so many talented people turning a creative hand and eye to our wonderful spies.
