Historic day ?
March 3, 2024. Sunday. When final data is coming it seems that this day became in some sense historic day for this country. It was sunny day in very early Spring. It was windy day too. This caused the next fact: it became the day when this country completely lived using only solar, wind and hydro energy. And produced enough energy not only for local use but nearly whole day sent excess to neighbouring Poland. First such day in this country. To be more precise: first such day in more than 140 years.
The number of such days will increase. This year we can expect 15-20 such days. The next year the number of such days can increase up to 50-60. In 2026 even more.

re able to do things that few years ago seemed impossible. As N. Mačiulis asked few days ago so who we are ? And he presented purely economic facts thinking about upcoming anniversary - 20 years of Lithuania's membership in EU and NATO: During the first two decades of EU membership, Lithuania's economic progress was unparalleled - no other new EU country has grown its productivity, exports, income and consumption so fast. During this period, average wages increased fivefold, and purchasing power almost threefold. In 2004, one in three Lithuanians lived in absolute poverty (lack of money for basic necessities); today, only about one in twenty does. At the same time we still suffer from a lot of bad things - inequality, not always adequate education, healthcare, etc.
The changes are coming everywhere. Ž. Mauricas two weeks ago presented the next chart widely discussed in media worldwide: the natural gas prices dropped in Europe to the levels of before the war. But if you think that the war started on February 24, 2022 you are wrong. That day started the final and the hottest stage of war. But the war started significantly earlier : at least in August 2021.
Then it was observed that main gas supplier for Europe - Gazprom (now nearly everyone in Europe forgot about such company :)) - started not to fill gas storages in Europe. In previous years this company behaved very differently. Gas prices started to rise up. Company tried to explain that only technical reasons are behind of such behaviour. As some other strange actions later in Autumn 2021. Now we perfectly know that in fact this stop was part of another plan. As the unexpected influx of migrants from the Middle East first to Lithuanian then to Polish borders via Belarus in summer and autumn 2021. Now it is also clear that this too was part of the covert plan to attract attention from what was going on the border of Russia and Ukraine (I perfectly remember when early November 2021 head of Polish intelligence warned that likely the migrant crisis is not aimed at Poland and Lithuania but first of all attempt to attract Europe's attention from more important events that were not so obvious then).
Chart shows fine also the turning point in this "special operation". This day was August 31, 2022. And you know who was the main reason of this turning point ? Dimka Medvedev :) Very smart guy with huge analytical capabilities :) On that day he said that next winter gas prices in Europe will reach 500 Eur per MWh and Europe will collapse next winter. This was the turning point: from that day prices went down and down and down :)
For almost 30 years, Europe has been asleep. Living in a world of illusions. But now the beast has woken up. The beast raised its head. The beast begins to look for someone to bite its throat.
