What a jump
Now the data is available. The next graph shows how much energy was generated from renewable sources in Lithuania in different years. The year 2023 shows the most important jump in history:
35 percent of total energy in Lithuania in 2023 was the locally generated energy from renewable sources. The last year were plans to achieve 100 percent renewable generation comparing to consumption in the year 2030. (This does not mean that every day 100 percent of energy will be renewable but there will be days when surplus will be generated and exported). Now it seems that this target could be achieved in 2027.
