The dynamics of Lithuanian exports in recent year looks like this: significant drop down at the begining of the year and consecutive growth later (the drop at the begining of the year isn't uncommon thing but this year it was significantly sharper):
The export dynamics hides significant changes in foreign trade partners. The next table shows the main foreign trade partners fro Lithuania this year (only products and services of Lithuanian origin, without reexport);
Germany first - 11.5%, Latvia second - 7.8%, then USA 7.1% , Poland 7%, UK and Netherlands 6.7% each, Sweden 6.1%, Estonia 4.5%, France and Norway 4.3% each, Denmark 4%, Italy 2.9%, Ukraine 2.6%, Belgium 2.4%, Russia 2.2%, rest of the world 19.9%. One year ago this table looked different. The most surprisng thing - the appearance of the USA as the third most important export partner. The jump of US was really somewhere from nowhere. Surprisingly low place of Estonia. It was expected drop down of Russia but the fall down to the 15th place wasn't expected.
