The year 2011 - the outcomes, part 1
The year 2011 approaching the end. It was very ambiguous year: there were many very different events - bad and good. Among the good things I selected one thing.
The best building of Sweden 2011 award last week received Kuggen - office center in Swedish city of Gothenburg in science and technology park of Chalmers university of technology. The building is especially "green" and one of the keys of success was it's eco-friendly nature:

Designed by Swedish architects and built by Swedish company this building has very deep roots in Lithuania as well. Facade of this building and many other details were made in Lithuania by Lithuanian company UAB "Staticus". And together with Swedish colleagues Lithuanians received the award called "The best product of Sweden". When you are looking to the list of "Staticus" projects (http://www.staticus.lt/projects/all-projects.html) you are becoming amazed how rapidly relatively young company became very serious participant in Scandinavian market and the market of other countries as well (their recent success - production of facades for Stockholm arena). Ooh , more such companies for this country :)
