So as something totally not relationship related...
I plan to do Nano this year :)
Tentative plans are to write for my second "book" (title either to be "Exile" or "Thief-Prince" but these may change) for my Everlasting King series. No I'm not going to give away plots or anything yet because unlike last time, I'm going to post up select portions to be read for the hell of it.
And for days when my mood to write for this second 'book' dies, I'm going to switch back to the first book to fill in the gaps of what I've got there.
See, originally I had intended this to be all one big book, but then I realized as I wrote that it would, indeed, be a BIG book. Easier, then, to break the story of Rhordienar (Dean) up into three. That said, there is a lot that still needs to be written (and re-written) in the first book and things to explore as well. To do that, I'm going to change my format for writing. Before I just wrote, no real divisions of chapters or anything. This time I'm going to write chapters which I'm looking at as mini-stories that can be combined into a whole bigger story. Hopefully working like this will help me complete things better.
I've also changed some things too, which changes things a little from the previous book. Now the rules of Nano say it can't be anything previously written, so any 'chapters' I write for book one during this Nano will be totally new, totally original and, of course, book two is just an idea in my head still.
So, wish me luck; hopefully the drive to write continues past the month like it did before and I can get another 80K or so words written and, maybe someday, I'll write part three, combine it all and see if it'd be worth even attempting to send off to print.
